Our Breath Alchemy sessions are intricately personalized to each individual, designed to awaken the inner healer and shed light on what needs to be seen and understood. These sessions delve into profound and transformative processes, reintegrating any forsaken aspects of the self, and liberating you from limiting beliefs, stories, and perceptions that don’t align with your core essence. This journey is your path to reclaiming your inner truth, your higher purpose, and your deepest knowledge.

The harmonious interplay of breath and voice in our sessions creates an alchemical transformation. At its heart, our conscious connected breathwork practice aims at integrating the body, mind, and spirit. HOW TO DETERMINE IF YOU ARE A CANDIDATE:

 

Below is a list of contraindications for conscious, connected breathing. If you are on the contraindication list, you are not a candidate for full breathwork, but I am happy to discuss modified, gentle breathwork with you at a later date if your condition should permit it.

Note: Breathwork results in certain specific physiological changes in the body and also can result in intense physical and emotional release. As a precaution, the following conditions are contraindicated in certain breathwork practices. It is crucial that you inform your breathwork practitioner if any of the following conditions are relevant to you:

- Pregnancy (at any stage)

- Severe PTSD or trauma

- Actively using recreational drugs

- Taking any medication that alters brain chemistry like anti-anxiety, anti-depressant, ADD, OCD medications, etc.

- Detached Retina

- Glaucoma

- Kidney disease

- High Blood Pressure

- Cardiovascular disease, including angina, previous heart attack or stroke

- Diagnosis of aneurysm of any kind

- Uncontrolled thyroid conditions

- Diabetes (any type)

- Severe Asthma— for mild to moderate asthma, we can discuss but you must bring your inhaler to the session

- Epilepsy

- History of Seizures

- Prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or previous psychiatric condition

- Severe psychosomatic disorders

- Recent surgery, stitches or injury

- Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last 10 years

- Any other medical, psychiatric, or physical conditions which would impair or affect the ability to engage in any activities that involve deep physical and/or emotional release

Please make sure you are not on the contraindication list to take a journey.

By dipping your toes into the unknown and pushing yourself to take on new challenges, you can open yourself up to a world of adventure and live a life full of excitement and discovery. Whatever you yearn for is yearning for you too. No need for logic to tell whether something is possible. You only need to know how strongly you feel it's yours to make it real.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE JOURNEY:

  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (no belt or buttons) not restrictive around the waist. Loosen bra or avoid altogether.

  • Before the session: Avoid consuming any alcohol or intoxicating substances and do not eat a large meal. Make sure all food is digested at least 1 hour before and eat lightly in the hours prior.

  • Avoid coffee at least 3 hours before Breathwork. Caffeinated tea or cacao is ok right before the journey. Coffee in the morning is fine if it's a part of your routine.

  • If you have low blood sugar, have nuts or a piece of fruit nearby

  • Finally, take space for yourself in the hour before our live session, drink some water, make sure you have eaten something (digested 1 hour before), ground in (in nature if you can), set an intention, and clear your energetic field.

  • Turn off or silence notifications on your phone. Keep your phone in airplane mode.

  • Don't drive a car/motorbike for at least 30 minutes after the journey.

POST-BREATH CARE:

  • Please drink plenty of water- one glass an hour every hour in the following 48 hours post-session.

  • Continue to create a container of self-care for yourself, as well as spaciousness for your process.

  • Take time to ground, integrate, and re-center. Time in nature/directly on the earth is perfect!

  • Remember that breath medicine may continue to work on you past the journey. Be open to the wisdom of the process and hold the understanding that more may continue to show up in the day/days following. Journaling, mediation, yin/restorative yoga, nature, salt baths, nourishing foods and liquids, etc will all support you in moving through anything that could arise.

  • Keep in mind that healing is not linear and not everything is always resolved in one session. If something surfaces for you to work with in the days to come, be gentle and compassionate with yourself. Be willing to sit with it and be with it to reap its wisdom for greater awareness and integration. Be open and stay curious as whatever is surfacing is showing up for you to heal/witness/receive/integrate/transform to move into a new octave of embodiment.
